The event consists of the realization of the II International Conference: Right yesterday and today.

The first edition arose from an organization of researchers from Unimontes and Unifesp, based on the common desire to bring together scholars from different themes (Political History, Agrarian History, Indigenous History and Gender). All themes, however, were related to right-wing extremism in Brazil and in the world. 

On that occasion, the growth of diverse organizations, supported by a broad right-wing political spectrum,  was the motto for the meeting of researchers around the topic. 

The context of expansion of the extreme right has not changed. The holding of a new event, now based at Unifesp, and maintaining the participation of Unimontes members, becomes fundamental, both for the analysis of the conjuncture of the second half of 2022, and for deepening the analysis.  historical.

For the organization of the event, the team mixes students and professors from the area of History and Social Sciences. The event will take place between the 12th and 14th of September and will feature 3 conferences given by specialists in themes focused on the rights, 3 round tables on the themes Neoliberalisms, Hybrid Wars and Justice, State and Law, which will be given by two participants each ; in addition to thematic symposia.

The first edition emerged from an organization of researchers from Unimontes and Unifesp, based on the common desire to bring together scholars from different topics (Political History, Agrarian History, Indigenous History and Gender). However, all the topics were related to the extreme right in Brazil and in the world. In that opportunity, the growth of several organizations, supported by a broad political spectrum of right, was the motto of the meeting of researchers around the topic. The context of extreme right expansion has not changed. The realization of a new event, now with headquarters at Unifesp, and maintaining the participation of the members of Unimontes, is fundamental, both for the analysis of the coordination of the second semester of 2022, and for deepening the historical analysis. For the organization of the event, the team combines students and teachers from the areas of History and Social Sciences. The event will take place between the 12th and 14th of September and will feature 3 conferences given by specialists on themes focused on the rights, 3 round tables on the themes Neoliberalisms, Hybrid Wars and Justice, State and Law, which will be dictated by the participants each one; in addition to thematic symposia.
